Data controller

MA Group, Avcılar, İstanbul, Türkiye (info@ma-group.org) processes personal data on TurkeySuppliers.net in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for users in the EU, the GDPR.

What we collect

Account data: name, email, phone/WhatsApp, country, company name, password (stored encrypted by our login provider).

Supplier data: company details, tax number and tax certificate (seen only by the supplier and our admins), logo, products and photos.

Use of the platform: messages, buying requests, credits, page views, and technical data such as IP address and browser.

Why we use it

To run your account and the platform; to connect buyers and suppliers; to verify suppliers; to translate messages; to prevent fraud and spam (including reviewing messages); to answer you and send service emails; to meet legal duties (e.g. invoices). We do not sell your data.

Who receives it

Other users see what you choose to publish. A supplier sees a buyer's name and country after opening the chat.

Service providers that host or process data for us: Supabase (database and login, servers in Frankfurt, EU), Vercel (website hosting), OpenAI (automatic translation of messages and listings), Telegram (internal alerts to our team), and our email provider. Some of them are outside Türkiye; by using the platform you give explicit consent to this transfer abroad, which is needed to provide the service.

How long we keep it

While your account is active and then as long as the law requires (e.g. 10 years for invoices). Messages are kept while the account exists. You can ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 (and the GDPR where it applies) you can ask whether we process your data, get a copy, correct or delete it, object, and withdraw consent. Write to info@ma-group.org; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We do not use advertising cookies.
