Akfix R306. Solvent-based adhesive containing stabilized tetrahydrofuran, formulated for bonding uPVC fittings and pressure pipes. Developed for use on pressurized pipelines with uPVC connection points (e.g., potable water and gas pipes) and for drainage and connection pipes; provides resistance to shear stress at joints in accordance with plastic pipe association recommendations. Features: - Resistance to high pressure (16 bar) - Water resistant - Chemical resistance, including to inorganic acids - Fast curing, provides maximum sealing protection - Excellent gap-filling capability - Good adhesion even on large surfaces - Suitable for hot and cold water pipes (up to 60 °C) - Resistance to bacteria Standards met: DIN 16970, BS 4346, ASTM D2564, NEN 7106.
