CAT DX45 240 W variable-speed orbital (vibration) sander. 240 W motor. Designed for sanding flat and large surfaces, edges and corners, and rough or painted surfaces. Robust eccentric shaft and variable-speed motor deliver high performance for demanding sanding tasks. Suitable for sanding varnished or painted wood surfaces such as parquet, table edges, and stairs. 187 x 90 mm pad, 1/3 sheet size, dual attachment system (hook-and-loop and clamping) with aluminum sanding base for smooth sanding of painted, varnished, or rough large areas. Built-in hole punch for cutting non-hook-backed sandpaper to pad size for use with the clamping system. Speed range 6,000–11,000 vibrations/min, adjustable for optimal results on rough and protruding surfaces. Electronic speed control maintains maximum speed under load to reduce waviness and sanding marks. Integrated speed control button on the handle allows fingertip speed adjustment without stopping the tool. Slim, vibration-damping rubberized handle and body enable extended one-handed use with less fatigue. Motor ventilation channels provide continuous clean airflow to prevent dust ingress into the motor, extending motor and bearing life. Dust extraction port for vacuum connection to keep the work area clean. Includes CDS dust/air separator (cyclonic dust separator) technology to separate dust from airflow, filter dust and exhaust clean air, improving user comfort and reducing surface dust.
