Akfix R306. Solvent cement containing stabilised tetrahydrofuran (THF) formulated for bonding rigid uPVC fittings and pressure pipes. Developed for use on pressure pipe systems with uPVC joints where resistance to shear stress is required (e.g., potable water and gas pipes), and for drainage and connection pipes. Features: - Resistance to high pressure (up to 16 bar) - Water resistant - Chemical resistance, including inorganic acids - Fast curing with maximum leak-tight protection - Excellent gap-filling properties - Good adhesion on large surfaces - Suitable for hot and cold water pipes (up to 60°C) - Resistant to bacteria Standards: DIN 16970, BS 4346, ASTM D2564, NEN 7106.
