Industrial carpet dust removal and beating machine for use before carpet washing. Rapidly removes and vacuums solid carpet contaminants such as loose fibers, dust mites, unwanted dust and foreign particles trapped in pile. For very dirty carpets it can speed up subsequent washing by more than 50% and reduce consumable use. The carpet is fed into the machine with the pile side reversed; the machine vibrates the back side at 1,200 blows per minute and the front side at 600 blows per minute. A high-suction vacuum unit supplied with the machine transfers the dust lifted by the stainless beater into a dust bag using strong airflow. At the end of the process the carpet surface is prepared for washing, facilitating easier washing. Airborne dust is confined inside the dust chamber and vacuumed away.
