Akfix R306. Solvent-based adhesive containing Tetrahydrofuran, formulated for bonding uPVC fittings on pressure pipes (e.g., potable water and gas pipes), and for drainage and connection pipes. Produced in accordance with recommendations of the plastic pipe association. Resistant to shear stress in uPVC joint applications. Features: - Pressure resistance up to 16 bar - Water resistant - Chemical resistance, including to inorganic acids - Fast curing, provides maximum leak protection - Excellent gap-filling capability - Good adhesion even on large surfaces - Suitable for hot and cold water pipes (up to 60°C) - Bacteria resistant Standards: DIN 16970; BS 4346; ASTM D2564; NEN 7106.
