Uses brushless motor technology. - Modes: rotary hammering with impact, rotary drilling without impact, chiseling/breaking, bit orientation (chisel positioning), and IMPULSE mode for delicate or slippery surfaces. - Impact energy: 2.2 Joule. - SDS-Plus chuck system. - IMPULSE technology: when the trigger is pressed halfway, delivers a pulsed impact current from battery to motor to reduce slipping when drilling into metal pipes, ceramic, glass or other smooth/oval surfaces and to allow more precise breaking without damaging the material surface. When used with an externally attached chuck in screw-driving mode, IMPULSE produces pulsed current to assist complete seating of screws in hard surfaces. - Brushless motor claims: longer run time, increased power, reduced friction and extended service life compared with brushed motors. - Pneumatic mechanism provides higher impact force for concrete, masonry and rock when paired with the 18V brushless motor. - Part of CAT 1 FOR ALL system: 18V CAT battery can operate other 18V CAT cordless tools.
